The New York Post reported:
Cops said Pedro Fernandez-Pacheco, 27, had been riding his bike along 54th Street shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday when he passed a stop sign at Seventh Avenue and was struck by a 1998 Ford livery cab.
He was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where he died, police said.
The driver of the cab was issued a summons for an improper license, cops said.
