According to the Daily News, Faustino Morales was riding east on Randall Avenue in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx when a delivery truck killed him in a hit-and-run
crash.
Hunts Point is an industrial neighborhood with a
high volume of commercial traffic. Despite the accounts of speeding
and reckless driving, the crash site, Truxton St and Randall Ave, lacks a proper traffic signal.
